It’s not like nothing’s been going on. Debris has been to the first round of lovely, patient, generous beta readers. I’m studiously ignoring their feedback until I finish a few things first. I know that book will suck me back in the moment I look at the first comment in Word. And the break from it is a good thing. But soon, my precious. Soon.
A couple of exciting news items too, but I will sit on those until I know for certain.
So really, things happening but not a lot to actually talk about. If I was more organised I’d have kitty pictures to fill the gap…

It’s a bit annoying isn’t it! Particularly when people ask ‘So, how are you? What’s been happening?’ and the only answer I have is ‘Good. Not much.’

I’m not carrot dangling, I promise! I just have an unreasonable belief that if I talk about something too early on, I might jinx it. Actually, probably not that unreasonable as I have had a market that accepted a story of mine fold before it could publish it. So I just keep my mouth shut until I know for sure 🙂
I know that you’ve been working hard on stories, so I’ll give you a pass for now.
I still want to read that video game post, though.
