Well, I made it down to Canberra and back again in one piece. One rather tired but very happy piece.

The launch was fantastic. Dinner was wonderful. The anthology looks terrific. Thoroughly enjoyed catching up, and meeting some lovely people! Great time had by all.

Well, that was an unfun weekend of sickness and sleep. Not that good kind of sleep. That horrible ‘I’m too sick to do anything else’ sleep. I have drugs now. Hopefully they will help. And help in time for Friday, when I intend to drive to Canberra for the csfg Masques launch.

A little while ago I was having a writing related conversation with someone. After discussing a new project they asked ‘and what else have you been doing? Besides writing, of course?’ Sounds simple enough, but this question made me panic. Because I couldn’t think of anything.

My scalpel is bloody. Just over 5000 words lie cut on the floor.

I have fuzzy eyes from too much computer time, and an achy back.

Have some errands to run, they can be my break from the screen.
