Hello, and welcome to my website!
I’m an Australian author who mostly writes speculative fiction, but I’ve started branching out into non-fiction and kid’s picture books. I’ve recently completed a Masters in Creative Writing at UTS. I’m a fan who loves all things nerdy, and am also obsessed with hiking and travel.
Over the years, I’ve won a couple of Aurealis Awards, a Ditmar, and an Australian Shadows award for my speculative fiction. My short fiction has been reprinted in several Year’s Best anthologies, and I’ve received international review coverage in The New York Journal of Books, The Guardian, Library Journal and Publishers Weekly. My first children’s picture book The Flying Optometrist, was published in 2018. My first work of non-fiction, a personal essay in Island Magazine, was also published in 2018.
