Unbound
Not actually as much as I wanted to do, but 10k is still pretty good! A couple of pesky plot problems held me up at one point (I’m still not sure I like this scene but it will have to do for now…). And the back has reminded me in no uncertain terms that it does not appreciate writing-binges thank you very much.
But still, there you go. Hopefully I’ll be able to return to my usual routine this week. The one that’s kinder to my back injury.

Well, thanks to the week that sucked, I’m way behind on my word count goals. So here’s the challenge… how much can I write over the weekend? WC currently stands at 32000. I’ll let you know how I go š

And then I get to sleep, right?
Blurg, what a day. After a stormy night we woke up this morning to a leak in the lounge room ceiling and a cat with an upset tummy. (The same cat who spent all night yowling at us like we were supposed to, somehow, magically make her feel better, right now!) So I’ve spent the day on the phone to theĀ insuranceĀ people, then took Chess to and from the vet. Seems she has a kitty gastro bug, hopefully something some nice simple food and a little TLC can fix. Here’s hoping the ceiling is that easy!
Add this to an already stressful time at work and I’m struggling with the words tonight. Won’t meet my target, but I’ll be happy if I just get something down on screen. And then bed. SLEEEP. Precious sleep.

I’m really enjoying this book. If I didn’t also have some short story revision to work on, I reckon that number would be a couple of k richer. I’ve also got a theme song. The theme song for Debris (book one) was Narayan from The Fat of the Land (The Prodigy). For Suited (book two) is was Afterglow from Switch (INXS).Ā Unbound (book three) has decided on The End of the World from Blackfield II (Blackfield) – and I found a Half Life 2 video made to this song, which is also perfect!
If my perfect world G would do the animation for a book trailer to this song *sigh*
Yep, basking in book love. Gotta do it while you can, right?
