Masques launch, the day after

Well, I made it down to Canberra and back again in one piece. One rather tired but very happy piece.

The launch was fantastic. Dinner was wonderful. The anthology looks terrific. Thoroughly enjoyed catching up, and meeting some lovely people! Great time had by all.

Masques

Now, this is the part that’s going to get me into trouble. Because I did, in fact, take my camera all the way down with me. I even had it in my bag. Problem is, I forgot I had the bloody thing until this morning. Which was, you know, less than useful.

So I’m off to hide and hang my head in shame. Might take the anthology with me though. Head hanging sounds like it could get boring pretty quickly.

Hi Jo. Glad to hear you kept the reins on the sat nav and made it out of Canberra. Regina and I also staged a successful egress – and without the usual ‘final, final, ever-so-final’ boarding call with which we’re usually associated. It was lovely to meet you on Friday. (Thanks again for the lift, by the way!) If you’re interested, I have a couple of photos from the signing, one of which shows you pondering a lull in proceedings…

  1. Oh yes, the sat nav. Mate, I gotta get one of those! I would have been totally lost without it, with it *easy*. Definitely on the ‘to buy’ list.

It was absolutely lovely to meet you both! Glad to hear you got back okay. I would love to see the photos. I’ll send you an email 🙂
